Senior Season Thoughts

As I step into the final stretch of my senior year in gymnastics, it’s hard not to get emotional. This season has been a whirlwind, filled with highs and lows, triumphs and challenges. But as I look back on everything I’ve accomplished, it’s clear that the road to this point has been shaped by every practice, every meet, and every moment of growth—both on and off the mat.

This year, more than any other, has been a time of reflection. I’ve spent countless hours in the gym, working to improve routines and pushing my limits. Along the way, I’ve learned so much about myself, my sport, and the importance of perseverance. But this journey isn’t just about the medals, the scores, or the accolades. It’s about the relationships, the lessons, and the growth that come with it.

As the postseason approaches, I am filled with excitement and anticipation. This is the culmination of years of hard work, and I’m ready to give it my all. I know there will be more challenges along the way, but I am confident that I’ve built the mental toughness and the skills to face them head-on. Whether I’m performing in a meet or cheering on my teammates, I’m committed to finishing my senior season strong and enjoying every moment of it.

But while this season may be coming to an end, my journey in gymnastics is far from over. I am thrilled to announce that I have committed to the University of Wisconsin–Stout to continue my gymnastics career at the collegiate level! This is an exciting new chapter for me, and I can’t wait to see where this next step takes me. The thought of competing for UW-Stout and being part of a new team fills me with energy and motivation, and I’m eager to bring everything I’ve learned from these past years into my college career!
